As you know, our petition(s) are hosted on the iPetitions platform, and have been since the end of last year. Recently, iPetitions added two new options to their petition site.
Firstly, it is now possible for one to sign a petition using one’s Facebook ID. This is the same proceedure used by YouTube for embedding videos onto one’s Wall. If you use Facebook under a nickname or a false name, we would request that you have the courtesy NOT to use this option to sign our petition. We prefer that you sign it using the normal signature proceedure, and that, if you prefer not to be known online, you choose that your name not appear on the online list by checking the first box before you click “sign”. Please be aware that if you choose to remain anonymous, this only works whilst the petition is still online. Once it is printed off, your name shall be visible like everyone elses.
Lastly, iPetitions now gives readers and signatories the opportunity to flag comments already collected on petitions as offensive. Should you find a comment which you find unacceptable, we request that you REFRAIN from flagging it and that you contact the BAFTA 4 JB Admin at “admin@bafta4jb.com“. We, as campaign administrators, shall proceed to moderate the comment as needed.
We thank you for your understanding in this matter, and for your ongoing support.
